DESCRIPTION:All-Original Open Mic at Stage Left Cafe features original s
 ongwriters\, poets\, storytellers\, and composers. We are delighted to s
 howcase these artists in a warm\, welcoming community setting. \n\n\n\nA
 ll performance styles are welcome as long&nbsp\;all&nbsp\;material is or
 iginal&nbsp\;and the performance is family-friendly.\n\n\n\nAll-Original
  Open Mics meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month\, Stage Left Cafe\,
 125 W. Van Buren St.\, Woodstock\, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 
 pm.&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nStage Left Cafe&nbsp\;offers an exceptional performanc
 e space and sound system for these events. Proof of vaccination is requi
 red on entry and masks except when performing\, eating\, or drinking.\n\
 n\n\nJoin us for these wonderful evenings of family-friendly entertainme
 nt. There is a nominal cover charge at the door.\n\n\n\nHow to Sign Up t
 o Perform\n\n\n\nThere are twelve spots at each open mic. Reservations a
 re on a first-come\, first-served basis. TIME IS SHORT\, so please place
  your request right away using the following instructions. \n\n\n\nIf yo
 u haven't already done it\, please visit this page (or click on the butt
 on below) to complete a one-time informational form. When you fill in yo
 ur form\, be sure to indicate if you are a poet/writer or a singer/songw
 riter. You can indicate that in the "Comment or Message" field.\n\n\n\nO
 nce you submit that form\, you can return to the same page any time to r
 equest a performance spot in any of our venues. \n\n\n\n\nSign Up to Per
 form\n\n\n\n\nThe “Golden Rules” of Performing\n\n\n\n\nAll material
  must be original. Cover songs or the work of other authors is not allow
 ed.\n\n\n\nSinger/songwriters and musicians may perform&nbsp\;two songs 
 or ten minutes&nbsp\;of material.\n\n\n\nWriters and poets may read&nbsp
 \;five to eight minutes&nbsp\;of material. Since we are close to Thanksg
 iving\, consider writing a poem or reflection on gratitude.&nbsp\;\n\n\n
 \nPlease do not exceed time lengths as it is unfair to other performers.
  Keep introductions to your material brief so you can use your time wise
 ly.\n\n\n\nPlease show respect to other performers. We encourage you to 
 stay for the entire program. We are proud to maintain a community of sup
 portive artists.\n\n\n\nNo recording is allowed except for your own perf
 ormance.\n\n\n\nMost importantly\, have fun\, and know that you are amon
 g friends!\n\n\n\n\nImportant note to performers and attendees in all in
 door venues\n\n\n\nMasks and vaccinations&nbsp\;recommended&nbsp\;but&nb
