Join in the fun as we welcome 2020 (wow!) in typical Off Square Music style with Rich Prezioso and Jacquie Manning of Small Potatoes and lots of great live entertainment, delicious pizza, champagne.
The open mic will begin at 8:00, delicious pizza will be served at 8:15 and champagne at midnight. Tricia Alexander is bringing non-alcoholic champagne.
There is a $15 per person suggested donation.

Courtney Sullivan was born and raised in Woodstock, Illinois. She is a local musician who performs in the Chicagoland area. Her acoustic style of music covers a wide range of hits from the 1960’s to today, with a few original songs sprinkled in. You can find Courtney singing solo, with her duo partner, Chris Kalkbrenner or with her band Sullivan Street Band at many locations in McHenry County.

Chris Kalkbrenner is from Lake Zurich, Illinois and has been playing the guitar for 25 years. He has been teaching professionally for over 20 years and many of his students have gone on to have successful careers themselves teaching and performing locally. Chris studied privately with Tom Hess of the Tom Hess Music Corporation local virtuoso George Bellas and also attended Harper College in Palatine, Illinois. Chris currently lives and teaches in Cary, IL and performs regularly with Woodstock, IL singer/songwriter Courtney Sullivan.

The Winter Market runs from Mid October until the end of April on select Saturdays each year, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is held in Building “D” at the McHenry County Fairgrounds. Along with our usual farm market offerings, we will have several Artisans at each market. Read on for December Market performers.

“The Ones That Got Away In 2019”
Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 7:30 pm at Unity Spiritual Center, the Stage Leftovers will present a special show with special guests. “The Ones That Got Away,” a Musical and Theatrical Tribute to the Artists, Performers and those who influenced our lives and passed from this place in 2019.
Part “In Memorium,” Part “Rock Concert,” with a little Broadway thrown in. A multi-media event you will not want to miss.

On Friday, December 13, 2019, 8:30 pm, our featured performer will be Mary Lai. Mary has a beautiful voice and we are looking forward to hearing her again.
Open Mics are generally held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every
month from 7 – 11 p.m. at Stage Left Cafe, 125 Van Buren St. on the
historic Woodstock Square.

When the 4th Friday Concert Series dates are booked, then Open Mics are only held on the 2nd Friday of each month.
