Adventure into our upgraded Off Square Music internet world. Here are some tips to help you find everything you need to make your Off Square Music internet journey fun and informative.
The Great Places You’ll Find On this Website
- Website. The website is where everything starts . . . and where everything leads. For the most up-to-date and complete information, check the website. If there are updates, they’ll be made to the post.
- Menu Tabs. Take a minute to look through the home page, starting with the menu tabs at the top of the page.
- Galleries. While we’re talking about Menu Tabs, access to the photo gallery and video gallery on the website is through the menu. These are in the early stages of their development, but over time, they will grow.
- Calendar. Notice that the first six items from our active Off Square Music Calendar are front and center on the page. Visit the full calendar any time to know exactly what’s happening with Off Square Music and Friends of Off Square Music. You will soon be able to register and pay for programs through the calendar.
- Interactive Items. The left and right columns have many interactive features including Donate buttons, Email Sign-up, and a Contact Us form.
Today Is Your Day – Be Part of the OSM Showcase
- Featured Artists. These bios are based on information we collect from Friends of Off Square Music, those who have performed at Off Square Music events. If you’d like to see your own bio in there, click on the Sign Up to Perform button in the left column of the website.
- Featured Performances. We now record many of our events. If a performer gives us permission, we share selected videos on our site.
- Post Updates. We are building a history of what we’ve done by adding followup information to event posts. You can see an example HERE, the January 2022 Every Saturday Virtual Open Mic post.
- From the Community. Help us make the Off Square Music website fun, interesting and informative, a magnet for musicians and people who love music. We want your stories, trivia, tidbits of music lore, and instructions for how to do what you do. Share your knowledge and experiences! Read more HERE.
When You’re Off and Away – Bring Us With You!
- Friends of Off Square Music. If you are a Friend of Off Square Music, that is, you participate in Off Square Music programs, let us know if you have a performance coming up somewhere that you’d like to share with the OSM community. You can also let us know of local or virtual events that you think might interest our community. We promote selected non-OSM events through our calendar.

Social Media. We post regularly to social media, and our social media posts will bring you right back to exactly where you need to be on the Off Square Music website to get full information and updates. We are now on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Email. We send out a monthly Newsletter that puts you in touch with information about everything happening in our community in the upcoming month.
There is a tab in the right column of the Home Page that links to past editions of the Newsletter.
Everyone on our mailing list receives this monthly newsletter, but now you can also select what additional Off Square Music email lists you’d like to be on. These additional lists often provide links to Zoom sessions or recordings from sessions as well as a reminder closer to an event.
Sign up for our emails in the right column of any page of this website. If you have friends who might like to be on the email list, send them to the OSM website to sign up.
YouTube channel. Yes, we have our own Off Square Music YouTube channel now. We have just begun to build it, but some day, it will become a full showcase for our Off Square Music performers and events. The videos in our website Gallery originate from our YouTube channel and will grow along with it.
Search Engines. On those occasions when you don’t go directly to the website to look for something happening but instead search for us, you’ll see us coming up at the top of the listings more often. As we add the content people want to our website, calendar and YouTube channel, we’ll get noticed, and you’ll find us more easily.
Help Us Grow
Here are a few things you can do to make our amazing Off Square Music community bigger and better (although it’s hard to beat best!).
- Invite friends to join you for any of our events or to sign up for our emails.
- Sign up to perform, or plan to attend events.
- Like us and subscribe to us in our social media channels. Share our posts in your own social media accounts.
- Contribute to our From the Community section or comment on posts in the website and in social media.
- Review us in Google and in Yelp.
- Did you know that Off Square Music is listed as a charity with Amazon Smile (https://smile.amazon.com/)? If you select it as your charity of choice, Amazon will donate a portion of the proceeds from your purchases to Off Square Music.
