Small Potatoes is the featured performer for our next Stage Left Open Mic, April 13, 2022, 7:00 pm/CST (doors open 6:30 pm). Please join us at Stage Left Cafe, 125 Van Buren St., Woodstock, on the historic Woodstock Square.

Our Stage Left Open Mics are now Hybrid Events so you can enjoy us from home if you can’t get into the Square. Either way, these monthly events offer a delightful evening of music and friendship. We hope to see you — performing or enjoying the performances.

About Small Potatoes

Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso are Small Potatoes, a Chicago-based folk duo. They say “it has taken them years of careful indecision to develop a repertoire they describe as ‘Celtic to Cowboy’.”

Superb musicianship and showmanship, award-winning songwriting, and a strong sense of tradition have made them, as Dirty Linen Magazine once said, “one of the most polished, inventive, and entertaining shows on the circuit.”

Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso – the Duo Behind the Bio

Jacquie and Rich both sing, and they both play guitars and an array of other instruments. They even yodel. Twenty-eight years ago, they decided to hit the road.

They might not have had the best plan, but what they did have were great songs and musicianship, and the ability to put on a show. After twenty-eight years, a million and a half miles, and 3500 shows (not to mention five, check that…six Dodge Caravans…) they are listed as a “favorite act” by many coffeehouses, clubs, and house concerts across the U.S. They have made repeat appearances at major folk festivals, including the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Walnut Valley Festival, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival.

Small Potatoes is well-known to the Woodstock area music community. They played these Off Square Music venues: Music at the Market (Woodstock Farmers Market), Sundays on the Square, 1st Wednesday Concert Series at Stage Left Cafe (formerly 4th Fridays), and Every Saturday Virtual Open Mic. Rich Prezioso is on the board of Off Square Music.
